Checkout Policy:

- two weeks on up to three items

- to renew, items must be brought to library

- lost or damaged items must be paid for but no late fines will be assessed

- student may only check out one item until overdue is taken care of

Book Selection:

There is a big difference in a 6th grader just beginning middle school and an 8th grader about to begin high school. Due to the large span of maturity and interest levels at this stage, the Gretna Middle School Library contains a wide array of books for our students to check out. Students are encouraged to find an AR book that works well for them both in reading level and interest. If a student chooses a book that is not to their liking, they can come back at anytime to choose a new one.
