Good afternoon.

What a fantastic week we had! We officially concluded our One School, One Book initiative. Students and staff celebrated with a school assembly. In addition, all students are adding artwork to a fun art display near the front office. Check it out when you come for parent/teacher conferences next week. It was a great way to wrap up this special reading experience!

The students and staff had a great time celebrating Valentine’s Day on Friday.  Thank you to the PTO and the room parents for organizing fun parties for the students.

Looking ahead, Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place on February 17th and 19th. Schedules were sent home this week. These conferences are a great opportunity to discuss your child’s progress and set goals for the rest of the school year.

Last week, we reviewed the character pillar of Perseverance. Our "Cedar Circle" Groups engaged in thoughtful discussions about what it truly means to persevere and never give up. It was great to see our students reflect on such an important value.

Thank you for your continued support this school year. We have so many things to celebrate opening Cedar Hollow and I appreciate your patience as we navigate the challenges we face each day. Your interest and involvement in your child's education makes all the difference and I look forward to continued growth together.
