Cedar Hollow Families,
I hope you all had a wonderful week! We had a great week at CES.
Today, the Kindergarten and 1st grade students had an exciting field trip to GHS for Mission Imagination! Here is a little more information about the program:
Focusing on teaching orchestral instrument families, the curriculum of Mission Imagination combines a child’s love of storytelling with the power of symphonic music in an up-close and playful setting. The program’s dynamic format puts kids in the center of the action, making them active participants in their own learning.
This week was also Weather Awareness Week, and on Friday, students participated in our Shelter in Place Drill to practice safety measures.
Our CES Running Clubs are off to a strong start, and 4th and 5th grade students are gearing up for an all-district race on Saturday, April 26th. If you'd like to volunteer, check out the link on our Facebook page!
The second graders enjoyed a field trip to Morill Hall in Lincoln on Tuesday. This was a fun and educational experience for the students, and we are so lucky to participate in many of these activities throughout the year.
Please remember that our spring picture day will be Tuesday, April 1st. This date was moved from a snow day cancellation earlier this semester.
PTO News:

Finally, the GPS Foundation asked if we would share information regarding the 2025 Educational Excellence Awards. Click the following link to nominate someone and find out more information: Educational Excellence Awards.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. We are so fortunate with a great community at Cedar Hollow. Have a great weekend with your family.
